Euro Coin Sets - A One Euro Coin from All 12 Countries:
In addition to complete sets of all eight euro coin denominations from each country, we can offer a complete set of 1 Euro coins, 12 coins in total, one each from the twelve Eurozone member countries.
Packaging & Presentation:
The "official" set issued by the Belgian Mint is in an attractive package as shown in our photograph. The cover says "Euro Presidency Set 2002", although the coins themselves are a mixture of dates from 1999 to 2002. In addition to the twelve 1 euro coins, there are two medallions, each for one of the countries holding the Euro Presidency in 2002, Spain and Denmark. Only one side of each medallion can be seen, so we presume they are uniface. There is also a CD "Images of Europe" enclosed with this set. It can be viewed on a computer or played on a CD music player.
Our own version is in our own attractive presentation packaging, which consists of a card insert within a rigid plastic case, so that the coins can be viewed from either side.
Whichever you choose, make sure you order your Euro coin set early.
