After the excitement caused by the complete base metal pattern set, there is a silver proof piedfort version with a low issue limit. The entire production of 20,000 base metal pattern sets sold out very quickly, and are now changing hands at between 5 and 8 times our original price. The issue limit for the silver proof piedfort version is only 5,000 and we expect them also to be very popular. Piedforts are specially produced presentation coins about double the normal thickness and weight.
